Biore is not going to help large pores and blackheads. The active ingredient is salicylic acid witch is supposed to exfoliate the skin, but since it doesn’t have a low enough ph level (most over the counter products with salicylic acid don’t) it can’t do the job. The best thing for blackheads is a prescription retanoid like Retin -A Micro or Differin. Blackheads are hard to treat and need a prescription to help.

Large pores are just hereditary. Nothing can permanently make them smaller. Some products claim to tighten pores but the results only last a short while. The best thing to do is to keep them clean. When dead skin cells and debris are trapped in them they only look more noticeable.

I don’t care for Biore.. but everyones skin is different.
I agree w/ the above user. Take it easy on your skin, the more oil you take away w/ some of these acne and blackhead reducing products, the more oil your skin will make to make up for what you’ve taken away.

I like Neutrogena products. The Deep Clean Cream Cleanser has done wonders for me. Cleans… has alpha hydroxy acid to exfoliate…yet is a gentle cream. I’ve found the gel wash is a little too much for my skin.

See a dermatologist if you can… blackheads are HORRID to get rid of, I know.

    =)

Depends. Biore Pore Strips will help–their face washes are very horrible. Use Lush Cosmetic’s CoalFace and spritz with tea tree toner; it’s the miracle recipe for pores. Give it a week and they’ll shrink to invisibility.
