How do I care for vintage crocodile skin shoes?
Katja asked:
I have a pair of genuine crocodile skin shoes I inherited which are english made, brown and about 60 years old. I don’t know how to care for them properly and one shoe has a little ‘chip’ in it (for want of a better description). I don’t know if I should use a standard polish to fix it.

CRIKEY!!
Exotic Skins: For skins such as crocodile, alligator, lizard, and snake, first wipe clean with a damp cloth. Apply reptile cleanser and allow 15 minutes for the treatment to absorb in the hide. For a high shine, sparingly apply a wax polish and buff with a horsehair brush. Apply edge dressing as needed.
